Frank Parr

Known in the world of independent comic books for his work with Lightning Comics, Illusion Studios and his own Newbreed Comix, Frank become co-founder and lead Illustrator at Dragonfyre Studios in 2005, producing a wide variety of prints, posters, buttons, t-shirts, illustrated novels and graphic novels. Frank’s work has also been spotlighted in G-FAN Magazine and graced the cover of issue #80. In the last few years, Frank and his DFS partners, have expanded on their Kaijuverse which includes Wendigo: A Deadtime Story, Kaijuverse Source Book and their current graphic novel crossover with author Matt Dennion: Irokus X Atomic Rex: Avatars of the Apocalypse! Frank’s artwork has been used in the music field for Warriors of Metal Fest, GMG Internationale, Lords of the Trident, Fiakra, Damien, Dethrats, Valhalla and Demonwolf; producing designs for t-shirts, posters, ads, backdrops and album covers. 2018 also saw the release of the Dragonfyre Studios Expansion Pack for the Kaiju Assault Game; featuring 8 of the studio’s Kaiju. Frank has provided artwork for the Draco Azul/Atomic Rex: Shadows of the Raptor comic book, Jason Fry’s Hyenia: The Stripped Protector and the Kaiju vs. Cancer Charity Book. In the last few years Frank has seen his infamous “Silhouette Godzilla” being used over and over without his consent; including the recent release of Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet DVDs and Blu-Rays.
